The "Pick & Gather" a Heartland event, will be hosted by our local farmers Cindy Lashbrook and Bill Thompson, Community Alliance with Family Farmers and local organizations.

I am a 73-year old father of 10, grandfather of over 40 and great grandfather of more than 20.

A few years ago I began the onerous task of writing my memoirs and have since accumulated thousands of family photos. I like to make a collage of photo groups that tell a story in and of its self.

Some of the more historic and interesting, I will share in the image section. I'm not much of a blogger so forgive my absence here.

We are a directory for the Central valley to connect with their local small organic and natural farmers.

We will be posting information on our local small farms, farmers markets, farm events, health benefits of eating local and much more.

We want to share with you a healthy lifestyle
