First place winner of The Big Fresno Fair

Ingredients

  • 1⁄2c butter flavored shortening
  • 1 cube i cant belive its not butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1⁄2T molasses
  • 2t vanilla
  • 2c flour
  • 2c quick oats
  • 2⁄3c raisins
  • 1 1⁄4c light brown sugar
  • 3⁄4c sugar
  • 1t cinnamon
  • 1tsp nutmeg
  • 1⁄2tsp cloves
  • 1 1⁄2tsp baking soda
  • 1⁄4tsp salt
  • 1c nuts

Instructions

Cream: shortening, I Can't Believe Its Not Butter, and sugars. Add eggs, molasses and vanilla. Add all spices and baking soda. Then add flour, oats, raisins and nuts. Mix well. rop by teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes or unitl light golden brown.
