My new absolutely favorite bakery is Thierry's (formally Der Bakerai) on the southwest corner of Bullard and Marks. The croissants are fabulous, the macaroons addictive and it is a creperie as well! Owned by very charming frenchman, Thierry Phelipot and his lovely wife Tina this is a new Fresno jewel.

Over at Kings Canyon and Chestnut, Ernie's has the best atmosphere to sit down enjoy a cup of coffee and a fresh donut! Give them a try!!!!!

Charlotte's Bakery in the Tower is without a doubt the best bakery in town! Their bread is 100% organic, baked fresh daily with no additives and preservatives. Their pastries are glutten and dairy-free and still taste like heaven. Charlotte's is also now serving Blue Sky sodas, which are also 100% ogranic! Needless to say, Charlotte's prides on selling organic foods at a very affordable price.

Charlotte's Bakery is the Ultimate Tastiest Bakery that makes the stop worthwhile for Lunch and for the perfect pastry!! Their fresh Sourdough bread is to die for!! Their hot sandwiches always "hit the spot!"
My birthday cake was delicious (Chocolate with Raspberry Filling)!! I love their friendly service and delicious pastries.

The best bakery is Bakery Express found on the Fulton Mall near Tulare. It is a jewel of a place because the owner and staff are always friendly and helpful to customers. The cookies, donuts and other products are tasty and inexpensive and the ambiance is always interesting and fun.

OutSTANDING! A real family operation. No corporate here, just great sourdough breads, creative flavors, amazing filled croissants, and panini so big you can easily share with a friend unless you're a teen ager. PLUS, great salads. And real people, not vacant eyed employees waiting to go home. We got wonderful pies for Thanksgiving; and ready-made stuffing cubes with 5 kinds of bread. I DO love this place. P

I love Charlotte's Bakery in the Tower. Great (and fresh) bread. Plus, the cupcakes and eclairs ... so delicious.

Le Roi French Bakery

My favorite Bakery is Le Roi Bakery on Champlain/Perrin in the Piaza Del Fiore. I love their Pizza with the white sauce and the Fruit cake is out of this world but my favorite is the Napoleons.

Christy's Donuts at 2505 E Belmont has three types of doughnut holes: w/sprinkles, crumb covered, plain (raised, glazed).
The hostess/operator/owner is the friendliest in town.

The best doughnut house in town is: Dream Donuts 2774 Willow in Clovis. While every other doughnut house in town fills their bear claws with some godawful (almond?) paste, Dream Donuts fills their bear claws with apple! Their doughnuts also have a mysterious addictive yellow tint to them.
Le Roi Bakery
We also love Le Roi, they also serve sandwiches and pizza. Lately we have been enjoying the Lemon Coconut Cake from the SaveMart bakery. :)
