Flemings , by far, is the best steak i have ever taste in my 35 years here in the central valley--ala-carte has something to say for itself when you recieve a 20 oz. porterhouse that doesn't require you to slather on the spices and/or the steak sauce--perfectly done in medium, the taste was phenomenal and the texture was perfect!! For years, I chose Nick Troianis stuffed steak as a comfort food at Nicolas with "Chef Jeff" at the helm, Flemings has surpassed all expectations as "THE" surprise, and pleasantly so, for my new "must have" steak in fresno!!!!

If in Porterville Try Screaming Moose Grill, 73 N. Main 782-0073. They have the best Ribeye at great prices. Filet and New york as well. Also slow smoked Ribs and pulled pork. Nice place, great atmosphere.
Best "Steaks" in Town

My vote definitley goes to Yosemite Ranch.
From the juicy Ranch steak, (a tasty, tender Sirloin), to the Rib Eye, (a mouth-watering extravaganza of flavor!), to the Twin Fillets, you won't find a bad one in the bunch.
Great taste and highest quality are the reasons for this enthusiastic response!
Do yourself a favor and go to "The Ranch"

We have the best Rib Eye and Flat Iron in town!!! Serving only Certified Angus Beef... and in May we will be introducing our new menu which we have added a New York and a Porterhouse!!!!

The Best Steak In Fresno

I also LOVE the Porterhouse at Flemings.
Its always cooked to perfection. Its not on the menu, so when you make a reservation, be sure to tell them to save one for you.
Once you try it, you wont bother with anything else on the menu.
Its large enough to share.. and they have no problem with bringing you an additional hot buttered dinner plate for sharing.
I cant eat another steak in town.
Best Steak
We have enjoyed several nice meals at Yosemite Ranch. Last night our steak had to be sent back, it was way too rare for medium-rare. The GM came out and apologized and made sure we were happy, it's a great place. The chicken pot pie soup is unique and really good, also.
We received a $500 gift certificate to Fleming's for Christmas last year from a client, we enjoyed several fantastic meals here. We like to take our own wine in, the Justification (Justin) was nice with one of our meals as was a bottle of Domaine Drouhin Pinot Noir from the Oregon Wine Country. :)
