My choice for a favorite breakfast spot was confirmed this Sunday at Cuca’s. Spring time in the Tower, authentic selection, prompt service and a surprise. The place was packed! It’s no secret. Cuca’s has had a following of neighborhood and area faithful since the 70's. Our family found the Nopales (cactus) and Huevos and the Tex Mex Enchiladas with eggs and shredded beef to be first rate eye openers. No question, dining on classic Huevos Rancheros sitting out side on Olive Ave next to two Tower district denizens knocking back Bohemia beers with breakfast, bantering with the waitress about their previous late night, is Fresno breakfast at its best. It's good food, good salsa and just the right amount of festivity for a relaxed Fresno AM.
