I think LaRocca's has awesome Italian food. I love their spheghetti and mushrooms. Its the best.
Best Italian food
The way I describe Parma's italian food is, "the best Italian food outside of Italy." You cannot compare this authentic style to anything else except a meal in Italy itself. They incorporate local valley fruits/vegetables into their menu, their food is always fresh, and the owner Elena will give you a big hug as you enter. They will introduce you to reduced balsamic vinegar, quail salad (get some), and a wine selection that will round out the meal. Bring your appetite because by the end of the meal you will be full and yet you won't be able to stop especially when they place the plate of polenta cookies in front of you. Save up for the Panacota (sp?) desert - a healthy version of brulee. Parma is a special place and a place that should be on your A-list of eating destinations.

Best Italian Food
Parma... Hi Elena!
If there is another legitimate Italian Food Restaurant out there let us know -
Somewhere that the tomatoes are not from a 10 can, every seasoning is dried, and the pasta isn't "open package and boil for 10 minutes" (even though I do eat at those too).
