Table Mountain or China Garden

Of the buffets that I've eaten at in the Valley, China Garden in Selma is the best for Chinese and the buffet at Table Mountain Casino is the best overall. Within the Fresno city limits, I'd have to pick Homewown Buffet for American and China Buffet for Chinese.

I can hear all the groans from all the Tang Dynasty fans out there, however, while the food at TD is decent and there is lots of it, this doesn't outweigh the rudeness and belligerence of their staff and management. In addition to the terrible staff, they have overcharged my party just about every time I've been there.

Take it from me, save yourself the headache you'll have after a meal at TD and try China Buffet or Hometown Buffet in Fresno. Or better yet take a short drive down 99 to China Garden (Selma) or up Friant road to Table Mountain Casino. They are worth the extra miles.

I haven't had the pleasure of trying Chukchansi's buffet, but I hear it is excellent as well.
