Disappointing

nothing really outstanding about this place personally. The food I did try was just on par with what you'd expect- unforunately nothing really WOW'ed the table; and there were seven of us for dinner.

We've always had great food at Dave's. For a real bargain, try their Rib Tips platter. It comes with over a pound of rib tips, 2 sides, corn on the cob and a corn bread muffin. It's plenty to take home and have the next day. And, they're delicious! I love ribs that put up a little bit of a fight, so these are excellent. Also, their catfish appetizer is really good. It comes with two tasty sauces that are a nice change from the usual tartar sauce.

One piece of advice for Dave's: If the door says closing time is "'bout 11," don't close early! We tried to catch a late bite soon after it opened, only to be turned away by locked doors and staff members who conspicuously avoided eye contact with hungry would-be patrons. Red Robin welcomed us ...
